      <title>Marketing plan diary July 4th </title>
      <description>&lt;P align=left&gt;Ah nothing like messing about on the river. I ended up punting along the river in Oxford today, what a way to spend a Saturday, quintessentially English. We stopped at the pub, (of course!), for lunch and started a conversation about the use of Avatars. Second Life is a company that’s promoting the world of Avatars (a word borrowed from Sanskrit and Stephenson’s science fiction novel Snow Crash), not only for personal and leisure use, but also for business to business activity..........&lt;/P&gt;

Off to the CIM Tutor Conference today: it’s all about Digital Marketing and what’s going on. It was really interesting in that a number of speakers highlighted the demise of SEO and the growth of social media marketing as a way to increase web presence and get traffic to your site. In addition there were some great case studies presented showing how effective campaigns with literally no budget can be.........&lt;br&gt;
